Cheaplane

Delegates replaceable grunt work from a premium agent (e.g. Claude Code) to cheap models behind a local LiteLLM proxy - boilerplate, formatting, translation, long-document summarizing - auto-routing each task by type (code to DeepSeek, long docs to Kimi, Chinese to Qwen). Delegated calls run in a separate process so the subscription session and the API credentials never share an environment, and a savings ledger records what stayed off the quota. Single Python file, stdlib plus `mcp` only. Install: `git clone https://github.com/millennialdreamer/cheaplane && cd cheaplane && bash setup.sh`. MIT.
